Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 3 eggs
- 180 g sugar
- 75 g ColaCao (or any drinking chocolate / chocolate a la taza)
- 90 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave. Stir until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the eggs and sugar. Stir until combined — do not whip.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the bowl and mix until smooth.
- Stir in ColaCao, flour, salt, and vanilla extract until the batter is fully combined.
- Pour the batter into a buttered 22–24 cm cake pan.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
The edges should be set while the center remains soft and gooey. This easy chocolate cake will be a success in any party.
